Q1: Do I need to already have extensive human trafficking knowledge?
It's a great idea to have a good working knowledge of human trafficking, but an extensive knowledge is not required. Credible human trafficking information can be found at polarisproject.org or sharedhope.org
Q2: Do I have to do come to every class?
You have to complete every lesson, but do not have to complete each lesson on a certain day and time. Every lesson is pre-recorded. If you would like to participate in the live weekly sessions, those will occur at a set weekly day and time.
Q3: Do I need a degree to facilitate the curriculum?
You do not need a degree to implement the curriculum effectively. Having a degree is definitely helpful.
Q4: Can I as a male facilitate the curriculum?
Absolutely. A good facilitator is genuine, authentic, care, and be able to connect with youth and build a relationship of trust.
Q5: Is the curriculum suitable for boys?
The curriculum has been developed for at-risk girls and not for those that identify as male.
